The White Moose Wilderness Outpost offers you the chance to get away from it all in beautiful Northern Ontario, Canada with World class fishing, hunting and recreational getaways in a pristine wilderness area on the shores of Horwood Lake near Foleyet, Ontario, Canada.
The Outpost is a boat access only retreat consisting of 8 fully equipped housekeeping cottages, showers, community fire pit and gathering area, weekly fish fry, gift/snack shop and a full service marina offering boat rentals, bait and fuel. It’s the perfect base for your northern getaway.
Horwood Lake has 180 miles of shoreline. The lake is renowned for exceptional pickerel (walleye) and northern pike fishing, and the perch fisherman will also be rewarded.
The Outpost also offers great opportunities for fall black bear and moose hunting. This area of Northern Ontario is well known for offering the best in moose and black bear hunting in the world. Limited openings are available at the camp so contact us now to book your spot!
