Cottages and Cabins
The camp has 8 modern housekeeping cottages which can sleep from 2 to 10 people. The cottages are fully equipped with fridge, stove, BBQ, pots, pans utensils, and coffee pots. Guests must provide their own food.
The cottages are wood stove-heated and plenty of wood is available at camp. Pillows are provided but sleeping bags (or bedding) and personal towels are required. Cottages have electricity, indoor toilets, and running water
Cottages have their own deck, picnic tables, deck chairs, propane barbeque & wifi (starlink).
Camp Facilities
If you’re not too busy fishing, hunting, and exploring the Outpost offers a number of recreational activities including horseshoe pit. For hunters, there is also a bow target practice area.
There is a communal picnic area with shelter and a fire pit for campfires. Ask us about our weekly fish fry!
There is also a screened dedicated fish cleaning room with a freezer for taking home your catch.
What to Bring
Sleeping Bag / Food / Drinks / Water / Toothpaste / Soap / Shampoo / Towels / Medication. You may only bring beer in cans only. No bottles.
There is no potable water at the camp. Drinking water must be brought with you.
NOTE: PLEASE DO NOT BRING ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES TO CAMP – The Camp’s electrical is run on a generator and cannot handle the extra load. This includes coffee machines, hot plates, hair dryers, and toasters. Anything electrical you bring will not be permitted at the camp. However, medical appliances are permitted (ie. CPAP machines etc.)
Tuck/Gift Shop
Our tuck and gift shop offers cold drinks, snacks, cigarettes, and necessities such as ketchup, mustard, fish crisp, bug spray, and anything else you may have forgotten to bring!
The shop also offers some unique souvenirs hand-made by local artisans you won’t find anywhere else along with souvenir t-shirts, postcards, and more.
Marina
The Outpost has a full-service marina with boat rentals, fuel, ice, and bait. E-mail us for boat rental rates and bookings.
